Legal Counsel (UK) | Renewable Energy | London (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with a fast-growing renewable energy business to find a Legal Counsel to join their UK legal team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the energy transition, supporting the development and delivery of complex projects across solar, wind, battery storage, and emerging technologies.
The Role
You’ll work closely with commercial, finance, and technical teams, providing practical, business-focused legal advice across the full lifecycle of energy and infrastructure projects. The role offers strong exposure to transactions, construction, and project development, alongside the opportunity to play a key part in commercial decision-making and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
· Advising on renewable energy and infrastructure projects, particularly UK construction and asset acquisitions
· Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial and project agreements
· Supporting M&A and project acquisition activity
· Providing legal input on regulatory, commercial, and operational matters
· Managing legal risk and contributing to strategy
· Leading or supporting due diligence processes
· Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external counsel
About You
· Qualified lawyer with ~2–4 years’ PQE
· Experience in construction, projects, infrastructure, Energy, or commercial law (private practice or in-house)
· Strong drafting and negotiation skills
· Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to risk
· Confident working with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
