Overview
We are working with a growing residential renewables business specialising in solar PV and heat pump installations across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Compliance Manager to support and maintain industry accreditations, ensuring all installations and processes meet regulatory standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in compliance within the renewables or electrical/heating sectors, looking to step into a role with real ownership but not requiring a highly senior background.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain company accreditations (e.g. MCS, NICEIC, RECC or equivalent)
- Ensure all installations comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Act as the main point of contact for compliance audits and inspections
- Support internal teams to ensure processes and documentation meet compliance requirements
- Conduct regular internal audits and identify areas for improvement
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry standards within solar and heat pumps
- Work closely with operations and installation teams to embed best practices
Requirements
- Previous experience in a compliance role within renewables, electrical, or heating sectors
- Good understanding of installer accreditations (e.g. MCS, NICEIC, Gas Safe or similar)
- Familiarity with residential solar PV and/or heat pump installations
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident liaising with auditors and external bodies
- Proactive approach with the ability to improve processes
