Senior Project Manager – Onshore Wind Consultant Role Overview A senior-level opportunity for an onshore wind expert / project manager with 5+ years of experience in renewable energy projects, in Analysis, Technical Due Diligence, Project Management and Owners Engineering for financing and M&A processes. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary client interface, participating in meetings with lenders and developers as needed. Develop detailed proposals outlining scope, team, budget, and schedules aligned with client expectations. Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of project objectives. Manage and execute Independent Engineering (IE) and Technical Advisory (TA) services for financing, sales, or acquisition of wind and solar projects/portfolios. Oversee and integrate comprehensive reviews of turbine technology, design, contracts, schedules, financial models, CAPEX/OPEX, environmental factors, and permitting. Compile high-quality IE and TA reports, synthesizing technical and commercial analyses into cohesive, client-ready documentation. Represent the organization at industry conferences. Lead project communications, status reporting, and regular team/stakeholder updates. Identify and address project risks with innovative mitigation strategies. Conduct site visits to monitor construction and operational progress and prepare monthly monitoring reports. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy). Project management certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile are preferred but not mandatory. Exceptional project management and team leadership capabilities.
