A leading Renewable Energy Business is looking to appoint an Interim Senior Legal Counsel to support its renewable energy construction projects. As Interim Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide strategic legal guidance across the entire lifecycle of renewable energy projects—with particular focus on renewable energy construction matters.

Key Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in engineering, construction, and project operation, including procurement contracts (EPC, O&M), consultancy agreements, and resolving development, delivery, and operational issues.
  • Expertise in Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), optimisation agreements, offtake contracts, hedging structures, and revenue agreements for clean energy projects.
  • Industry experience in renewable energy preferred—background in energy, mining, oil & gas, engineering, or infrastructure also considered.
  • Exceptional drafting skills for contracts and correspondence, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strategic and commercially minded—comfortable rolling up your sleeves, identifying risks, and executing solutions swiftly and effectively.
  • Land and tenure matters, including options, leases, and approvals related to project development.
