Asset Manager – Renewable Energy Infrastructure
Location: Candidate can be based anywhere in UK
Contract: Full-time, permanent (40 hrs/week)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Asset Manager to lead client engagements across renewable energy infrastructure projects, including offshore wind, solar, ports, and supply chain businesses. This role combines commercial, operational, and strategic responsibility, with the autonomy to manage engagements end-to-end and the support of a collaborative, expert team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary client contact and trusted advisor, managing day-to-day needs.
- Oversee performance monitoring and reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow), identifying risks and opportunities.
- Manage financials including budgets, forecasts, valuations, and loan administration.
- Monitor operators and service providers, ensuring compliance and driving long-term value.
- Support governance, risk management, and high-stakes stakeholder engagement.
- Lead and coach analysts and operational specialists to maximise team performance.
- Contribute to special projects, portfolio integration initiatives, and strategic commercial support.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in asset management within renewable energy or related infrastructure, ideally with offshore wind exposure.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, P&L, and cashflow.
- Operational understanding of large-scale energy assets, including performance optimisation and risk management.
- Financial literacy to interpret management accounts, valuation models, and performance reports.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging at board level.
- Project leadership experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and external partners.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and client-focused, taking full ownership of outcomes.
