The Regional Manager will be responsible for overseeing all core business operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of projects, high-performing teams, strong customer satisfaction, and robust financial management. This is a hands-on, operational leadership role that requires the ability to balance strategic oversight with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations across sales, installation, and administrative functions.
  • Oversee scheduling, logistics, and workflow planning for installation teams to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Lead, manage, and develop teams including technicians, office staff, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance check-ins, and formal reviews.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training to build capability and strengthen team performance.
  • Monitor cash flow and oversee operating budgets.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, and approve operational and job-related expenditure.
  • Implement cost-control initiatives to support profitability and financial efficiency.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex or high-priority customer issues.
  • Ensure a consistently high standard of customer experience through clear communication and reliable project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team by providing operational insight and support.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and overall business performance.
  • Develop and optimise systems, tools, and processes to enhance productivity and service delivery.
  • Contribute to forecasting, goal setting, and wider strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and planning abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and proactively resolve operational challenges.
  • Previous industry experience preferred, ideally within solar, renewable energy.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for site visits and occasional travel.
  • Strong technical proficiency, with experience using project management platforms, CRM systems, and cloud-based tools.
  • Forward-thinking leadership approach, with a focus on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and modern management practices.
