My client is seeking an experienced Offshore Consents Manager to lead offshore consenting activities for one of its projects. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in securing consents and permissions for major infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for: Delivering offshore consents and licensing requirements, collaborating with the Environment and Consents Lead and the team. Providing technical environmental and consenting guidance (offshore) and supporting assessment, development, and execution phases. Preparing and managing consenting plans. Implementing and updating the offshore consenting strategy and managing budgets. Preparing scope of work documents and reviewing technical documents related to consenting activities. Managing relationships with external service providers (e.g., Fisheries Liaison, EIA Consultants). Identifying consenting risks and developing mitigation plans. Overseeing surveys and studies for Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA). Building relationships with stakeholders (consulting bodies, authorities, consultees). Ensuring environmental and consenting requirements are integrated into design. Maintaining project documentation like the commitment register, programme, and risk register. Performing additional activities such as community consultations and supporting events. We are looking for candidates with experience in: A relevant degree (Marine Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, Geography, Law). A proactive, solution-focused approach to complex consenting and environmental issues. Experience in renewable energy or environmental consultancy, focusing on project consenting and development.
