We are looking for a high-calibre, consultative Sales Manager to join a rapidly growing renewable energy business in Newark. This is a premium, customer-centric role that blends sales expertise with technical capability, including on-site surveying and the design of tailored energy solutions across solar PV, battery storage, backup systems, and EV charging infrastructure.

You will work directly with homeowners to deliver bespoke smart energy systems that help reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency, and increase property value. Each project requires a detailed on-site assessment to ensure accurate system design, full regulatory compliance, and outstanding customer outcomes from consultation through to installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with pre-qualified homeowners across the UK, providing consultative sales support and delivering tailored smart energy solutions including solar PV, battery storage, backup systems, EV charging, and energy management systems.
  • Manage the full sales journey from initial consultation through to close, building strong customer relationships through a credible, technically informed, and solutions-led approach.
  • Convert high-quality inbound leads while proactively developing local referral networks to generate additional business opportunities.
  • Carry out detailed on-site technical surveys, assessing roof suitability, electrical infrastructure, battery and inverter placement, EV charging requirements, and grid connection considerations.
  • Accurately capture and document site data, producing clear and comprehensive survey reports for collaboration with design and installation teams.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining strong pipeline management and visibilities.
  • Deliver an exceptional end-to-end customer experience to encourage referrals, repeat business, and long-term customer satisfaction.
