As the platform scales, they are looking to appoint a senior investment professional who can help lead investment activity, bring structure to the investment process and support the continued build-out of the platform.
Role overview The Investment Director will play a senior role in originating, assessing, executing and managing renewable energy investment opportunities across Europe.
This position requires someone who can combine strong investment judgement with a practical understanding of how renewable energy assets are developed, contracted, built and optimised.
The successful candidate will be expected to operate across both strategic and execution-focused workstreams, helping to build the investment function as the business continues to grow.
Key responsibilities Lead the assessment and execution of renewable energy investment opportunities across solar, wind and BESS.
Oversee financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis.
Lead transaction processes, due diligence and investment committee preparation.
Work closely with technical, engineering, development, legal and commercial teams.
Challenge assumptions around grid, PPAs, EPC, supply chain, construction, asset delivery and operating performance.
Support strategic decision-making across both asset-level and platform-level activity.
Help build and refine investment processes, frameworks and governance.
Mentor and guide more junior investment professionals.
Support senior leadership with fundraising, capital deployment, portfolio strategy and wider platform development where required.
Candidate profile The successful candidate will likely have:13+ years’ experience across renewable energy, infrastructure investment, project finance, M&A, corporate finance or a related field.
Strong financial, commercial and strategic judgement.
Ability to lead investment processes from assessment through execution.
Practical understanding of asset-level value drivers across solar, wind, BESS, grid, PPAs, EPC, supply chain and project delivery.
Experience working with technical and commercial teams.
Ability to bring structure, discipline and process to a growing investment platform.
