I'm currently supporting the search for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading renewable energy organisation, focused on the development of utility-scale solar projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced renewable energy professional to take ownership of projects from early-stage development through to pre-construction, working across planning, land, technical, commercial and stakeholder workstreams. Key responsibilities include: Managing a portfolio of UK solar development projectsTaking projects through the development lifecycle, from site identification to pre-constructionManaging project budgets, programmes, risks and opportunitiesCoordinating planning, environmental, technical, legal and land advisorsManaging relationships with landowners, local authorities and other key stakeholdersSupporting planning conditions, variations and consenting activitiesIdentifying and progressing new solar development opportunitiesWorking closely with grid, engineering, commercial, legal and financial teamsSupporting the development of wider renewable energy and energy storage opportunitiesIdeal background: Experience within renewable energy, energy infrastructure or a related sectorProven project management experience, ideally within solar developmentStrong understanding of planning, development or consenting processesAbility to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectivelyStrong commercial, analytical and communication skillsWillingness to travel across the UKDiscipline(s): Renewable EnergyJob type: Permanent
