About the Role

We are supporting a leading investment manager with a substantial Real Assets platform spanning renewable energy, infrastructure and natural capital.

We are looking to speak with technically minded renewable energy professionals looking to develop their career within Asset Management.

This opportunity is particularly suited to candidates with

1–2 years' experience in solar PV/renewable energy.

You will work closely with experienced Asset Managers and stakeholders to monitor the performance of operational renewable energy assets and support the optimisation of their long-term technical and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management of operational renewable energy assets.
  • Monitor asset performance, availability, production and key operational KPIs.
  • Analyse performance data and identify potential issues or underperformance.
  • Work alongside O&M providers and technical contractors to resolve operational issues.
  • Assist with reporting on asset performance and operational activities.
  • Support contract, maintenance and performance reviews.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving asset availability, reliability and generation.
  • Assist with technical and commercial analysis across a portfolio of renewable energy assets.
  • Work closely with senior Asset Managers and wider investment and technical teams.

About You

We are particularly interested in candidates with

1–2 years' professional experience in renewable energy.

  • A strong interest in solar PV and renewable energy .
  • A technical, engineering or analytical background.
  • Experience with asset performance, O&M, engineering, SCADA or operational data would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to interpret technical and operational information.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A willingness to develop a career within renewable energy asset management.
  • A Note on Other Opportunities

We are also recruiting for a more senior Asset Manager position , aimed at candidates with approximately

4–5+ years' experience , particularly those with a strong solar PV background.
