Office based in Finsbury, London with site travel required (UK driving licence essential). TGRC is hiring a Logistics Supervisor to support our client’s solar and renewable energy projects across the UK. The role involves managing all aspects of project logistics, ensuring materials and equipment are procured, stored, and delivered efficiently to support on-site construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project logistics, including material handling, storage, and transportation.
- Coordinate on-site procurement with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Work closely with construction and procurement teams to plan and schedule deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all logistics operations.
- Identify and resolve potential delays or logistical issues proactively.
- Manage relationships with transport providers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or materials management, ideally within construction or renewable energy projects.
- Experience in solar, wind, or large-scale construction projects preferred.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
