We have partnered with a leading UK renewable energy contractor specialising in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of low-carbon energy solutions. The business delivers a diverse range of renewable technologies, including solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), EV charging infrastructure, heat pumps, and energy efficiency solutions for residential, commercial, and public sector clients.

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Regional Manager to lead and develop operations across multiple locations within a growing renewable energy business. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation at the forefront of the energy transition, where you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, regional growth, and exceptional customer delivery.

As Regional Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the performance of multiple branches and operational teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. You will provide strategic leadership across sales, operations, financial performance, and people management, while working closely with senior leadership to support the company's long-term growth objectives.

  • Lead and oversee operational performance across multiple branches and regional teams.
  • Ensure renewable energy projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Drive regional business performance, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with wider business objectives.
  • Manage resource planning, workforce allocation, and operational capacity to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls across the region.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Branch Managers, operational teams, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Support recruitment, succession planning, onboarding, and training initiatives across the region.
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial and leadership teams to support business growth, market expansion, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Multi-Site Leadership Experience – Proven success managing multiple branches, business units, or operational teams within a regional or area management capacity.
  • Industry Background – Previous experience within renewable energy, solar, electrical, construction, utilities, heating, engineering, or field service environments.
  • Commercial Acumen – Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability drivers.
  • Strategic Leadership Skills – Ability to translate business objectives into effective regional strategies and operational plans.
  • Operational Excellence – Strong understanding of project delivery, resource planning, customer service, and performance management.
  • Technical & Systems Proficiency – Confident using CRM systems, project management software, and business reporting tools.
  • Full UK Driving License – Willingness to travel regularly across the region to support branches, projects, and business operations.
