TGRC is looking for a senior commercial leader to build and scale our Interim & Fractional Leadership business across EMEA, focused on the Energy, Infrastructure, Finance and Investment markets. This is a genuine build opportunity. TGRC has been trading for 16 years and has developed deep senior relationships across energy transition, infrastructure development, finance, investment, private equity, funds, platforms, developers and C-suite leadership teams. The clients are already here. The candidate network is already here. We now need someone who can bring the two together and build a high-performing interim business around it.
Working closely with the TGRC COO, you will help develop and launch a global interim brand, establish the go-to-market strategy, build the operating model, hire and lead a team, and grow a profitable practice across: Finance | Investment | Transformation | Strategy | Operations | Central Functions.
This role is ideal for someone who has operated successfully in interim, executive search, senior recruitment, consulting, or leadership advisory, and now wants the platform, brand, relationships and upside to build something significant.
The OpportunityYou will lead the development of TGRC’s interim proposition across EMEA, leveraging our established client base, advisory network, senior candidate relationships and sector credibility. You will be responsible for building a commercially successful practice that places senior interim and fractional leaders into investors, infrastructure platforms, developers, funds, portfolio companies and scaling energy businesses. This is not a cold-start desk. TGRC already has trusted relationships across the market. The opportunity is to convert that access into a structured, scalable and high-margin interim business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the EMEA strategy for TGRC’s Interim & Fractional Leadership business.
- Work with the TGRC COO to shape the global interim brand, proposition, operating model and client strategy.
- Build relationships with investors, funds, developers, infrastructure businesses, portfolio companies and senior leadership teams.
- Convert TGRC’s existing senior contacts into interim and fractional mandates.
- Build, hire and lead a specialist interim team across Finance, Investment, Transformation and central functions.
- Develop candidate communities of senior interim leaders, fractional executives and transformation specialists.
- Create a repeatable sales, delivery and account management model for interim assignments.
- Partner with TGRC’s existing global teams to cross-sell interim solutions into established clients.
- Build a profitable, scalable business unit with clear revenue, margin and headcount growth.
- Represent TGRC externally as a senior market leader through events, content, networking and personal brand activity.
We are looking for someone entrepreneurial, credible and highly commercial. You may already be leading an interim practice, building a senior recruitment desk, working in executive search, or operating within a leadership advisory / consulting environment. You will likely have:
- A strong track record in interim, executive search, senior recruitment, consulting, or professional services.
- Experience selling to senior decision-makers, ideally across investors, infrastructure, energy, finance, transformation or corporate leadership.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with C-suite clients and senior interim candidates.
- A proven record of revenue generation and/or building a profitable team.
- A strong understanding of interim, fractional or project-based hiring.
- The ambition to build something bigger than a desk.
- The confidence to work closely with senior leadership and influence the direction of a growing business.
