TGRC has partnered with a leading global provider of power and industrial solutions operating within the UK, specialising in high-voltage electrical equipment and energy infrastructure projects. With a strong presence in the transmission and distribution sector, the company delivers advanced transformer and switchgear technologies to support the UK’s growing energy demands. It partners with utilities and infrastructure firms to enhance grid reliability and enable the transition to a more sustainable energy system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for defining project scope, developing schedules, and managing project execution throughout its entire lifecycle following handover from the sales team.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all project-related communication with key stakeholders, including subcontractors, HQ sales and commercial teams, factory personnel, and clients.
  • Proactively identifying project risks and issues in collaboration with customers, while gathering and addressing customer feedback.
  • Managing all project documentation, including design files, quality records, progress reports, and contractual deliverables.
  • Assisting with tendering activities alongside teams in HQ, the factory, and the UK office.
  • Performing additional duties as reasonably assigned by the company.
  • Primarily focused on National Grid projects, as well as other transformer-related initiatives.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Transformer installation and delivery in standard NG and SPEN substations (400KV).
  • Project Management qualification (or relevant experience).
  • Electrical Engineering qualification is preferable.
  • Experience project managing full project lifecycle (design and manufacturing subject knowledge not essential).
  • Track record of working multiple projects simultaneously and at different lifecycle points.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and liaising with customers.
  • Offshore wind experience would be a bonus.
