The Energy Portfolio Manager’s role is to have an overview of both supply and demand side considerations regarding energy portfolio management and advise on energy portfolio strategies for Commercial and Industrial customers. In this role, the Energy Portfolio Manager will focus heavily on risk management and hedging strategies for its clients.

Responsibilities:
- Advise the client on energy supply management strategies and implement commodity risk policies, active risk management and hedging as well as renewable purchasing programmes.
- Provide insight and market intelligence to customers in the form of reports, meetings, and presentations with the support of regional advisory services consultants for risk management and sourcing experts.
- Understand and educate customers on industry trends, competitive landscape, energy market trends and relevant regulatory changes.
- Advise clients on the implementation of renewable purchasing strategies including power purchase agreements.
- Advise clients on the implementation of renewable energy roadmaps and zero carbon roadmaps.
- Develop & execute strategic success and expansion plans to drive customer value and opportunities.
- Commercial awareness to identify new business opportunities whilst working closely with business development teams.
Your Profile:
- Prior energy experience and knowledge of different energy sectors, such as advisory, demand management, supplier management & regulatory policy.
- Working knowledge of natural gas and electricity markets.
- Analytical: ability to think about all the factors that might affect a situation.
- Excellent computer skills and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills, experience with database queries and cost modelling.
- Budgeting, forecasting and price structuring.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; understanding the client's needs whilst focusing on the company’s goals.
- Min. 3 years of professional experience in a corporate setting preferably in the natural gas or power industry.
