I am working with a leading renewables company who are looking for an Asset Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of UK renewable energy assets (solar &), driving performance and value for investors.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for the technical and commercial management of operational assets, ensuring optimal performance, strong stakeholder relationships, and compliance across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and optimise asset performance (solar PV) against KPIs
  • Implement revenue optimisation strategies across energy markets (e.g. balancing services, wholesale markets)
  • Manage O&M and EPC contractors, ensuring performance and contractual compliance
  • Lead incident resolution, maintenance oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee commercial agreements (PPAs, grid, land, and service contracts)
  • Identify cost-saving and value enhancement opportunities
  • Support budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (investors, lenders, advisors, grid operators)
  • Ensure regulatory, ESG, and insurance compliance across assets

About You

  • ~3+ years’ experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or asset management
  • Strong mix of technical and commercial understanding
  • Knowledge of UK energy markets and grid services is advantageous
  • Experience managing contracts (EPC, O&M, PPA) and stakeholder relationships
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
