Overview
The Green Recruitment Company is working with one of the largest Facility Management firms in the UK, seeking to add a BEMS Engineer to their Energy Team. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Energy Manager and BEMS Manager to optimize the BEMS on client sites, ensuring efficiency and environmental compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in site energy performance analysis, identify poor-performing sites, and implement improvements.
- Develop and execute energy-saving programs through strategy modifications or new technologies.
- Manage energy management systems to maximize energy savings.
- Review current BEMS programs, site requirements, and energy data to identify efficiency measures and cost-saving opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience with BEMS programming and Trend System Engineering Tools.
- Knowledge of Trend IQ networks and remote communication setup and maintenance.
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical building services, including BEMS, HVAC, and lighting systems.
- Proficiency in BACnet and Modbus protocols.
- Strong project management and commercial skills.
- Electrical qualification recognized in the industry.
