We are looking to recruit an additional GP with excellent communication skills, a patient centred approach, and a collaborative working style. Our existing clinical team is dynamic, with a diverse skill set (3 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, and a multidisciplinary team of experienced healthcare professionals). We are part of Redcar Coastal PCN and benefit from additional ARRS personnel.

We are based in modern, purpose-built premises within Redcar Primary Care Hospital and have access to Physiotherapy, Radiology, Endoscopy, Audiology, Minor injuries, MRI, CT and X-Ray facilities on-site. Our modern building offers excellent facilities, free parking and easy access to public transport.

Main duties
The post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care. The post-holder, as part of the practice team, will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone, video, and e-consultations, visiting patients at home, authorising repeat prescription and dealing with queries, paperwork, and correspondence in a timely fashion.
The post-holder will be supported in continuous professional development through attendance at necessary/appropriate courses and/or study days in addition to training programmes implemented by the practice.
The number of hours and working days are open to negotiation with the successful candidate
