The Role
We're looking for a driven, personable, and commercially minded Events & Business Development Manager to take ownership of our events business.
This is a dual-focused role with real variety, one day you might be walking a bride-to-be around the hotel, the next you're pitching a corporate retreat package to a local business.
You'll be the face of The Green House for clients at some of the most important moments of their lives and careers, and you'll take real pride in getting every detail right.
You'll manage the full sales cycle, build lasting client relationships, and work closely with our operational teams to ensure every event is delivered to the exceptional standard our guests expect.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and converting wedding, private event, and corporate enquiries from initial contact through to confirmed booking.
- Conducting hotel showrounds and tailored client meetings.
- Preparing bespoke proposals, quotations, and contracts, hitting sales targets and maximising revenue across both segments
Building strong, lasting relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate partners.
- Coordinating with the wider team to ensure seamless, on-brand event delivery.
- Maintaining accurate sales records and pipeline reporting
- Identifying new business opportunities and supporting local marketing activity
- Representing the hotel at wedding fairs, networking events, and industry functions
About You
- Experience in wedding sales, events management, or hotel sales
- A confident communicator and skilled negotiator
- Highly organised, with sharp attention to detail
- Target-driven and commercially aware, you spot an opportunity and go after it
- Comfortable juggling multiple enquiries and priorities
- Genuinely passionate about delivering outstanding experiences
- A background in hospitality or hotels is preferred, but your attitude and drive matter most
