Fixed term for one year as a new role in our structure, with potential to become permanent. Salary £31,249.68 - £33,812.88 per annum. Working Hours 37.5 hours per week, predominantly Monday – Friday. There may be occasions requiring evenings and weekends to support events and openings.

We have launched a three‑year growth plan that includes expanding our commercial nature‑based solutions products and services across the UK and EU, raising our profile as a national urban resilience demonstrator, and increasing local impact through visitor experiences and events, community and corporate venue hire, and education and learning activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that drive revenue and investment.
  • Translate complex, technical work into compelling, accessible content.
  • Strengthen our brand as a credible, professional and values‑led organisation.
  • Support business development through high‑quality case studies and proposals.
  • Lead and develop a small, capable marketing team.
  • Ensure our communications consistently reflect the quality and impact of our work.

Background:

  • A commercially competent marketer who understands pipelines, positioning and conversion.
  • Equally comfortable with strategy and delivery – from planning campaigns to writing copy.
  • Experienced across multiple channels, content and brand management.
  • Able to engage both B2B and public audiences with credibility.
  • Confident working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • Motivated by purpose – but grounded in delivery, performance and results.
