We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and maintain consistently high cleaning standards across guest accommodation and event spaces. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will oversee daily operations, supervise the housekeeping team, and ensure all areas are prepared to an exceptional standard within agreed turnaround times.

The Role

  • Lead, supervise and support the housekeeping team on shift
  • Allocate daily tasks and manage cleaning schedules
  • Inspect bedrooms, bathrooms, and event spaces to ensure quality standards are met
  • Train new team members in cleaning procedures and expectations
  • Monitor stock levels and manage ordering of cleaning supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and COSHH procedures
  • Report maintenance issues promptly and follow up where required
  • Step in to assist with cleaning during busy periods

The Person

  • Experienced in hotel or commercial housekeeping (minimum 2 years required)
  • Confident supervising a team and setting clear expectations
  • Highly organised with strong time-management skills
  • Detail-focused and uncompromising on standards
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage tight turnaround times
  • Professional, reliable and accountable
