We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and maintain consistently high cleaning standards across guest accommodation and event spaces. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will oversee daily operations, supervise the housekeeping team, and ensure all areas are prepared to an exceptional standard within agreed turnaround times.
The Role
- Lead, supervise and support the housekeeping team on shift
- Allocate daily tasks and manage cleaning schedules
- Inspect bedrooms, bathrooms, and event spaces to ensure quality standards are met
- Train new team members in cleaning procedures and expectations
- Monitor stock levels and manage ordering of cleaning supplies
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and COSHH procedures
- Report maintenance issues promptly and follow up where required
- Step in to assist with cleaning during busy periods
The Person
- Experienced in hotel or commercial housekeeping (minimum 2 years required)
- Confident supervising a team and setting clear expectations
- Highly organised with strong time-management skills
- Detail-focused and uncompromising on standards
- Calm under pressure and able to manage tight turnaround times
- Professional, reliable and accountable
