We're excited to be recruiting a brand new Social Media & Digital Marketing Volunteer to play a vital role in amplifying the mission and activities of The Great Friendship Project.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause, gain hands-on experience in marketing and social media management for a non-profit, and make a positive impact on the lives of young people struggling with loneliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation - Create engaging, platform-specific content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn that reflects our mission and connects with our audience.
- Photography & Videography - Capture high-quality photos and videos at events, campaigns and community activities to showcase the impact of our work.
- Content Planning & Scheduling - Help implement our content calendar by planning, scheduling and publishing content across our social media channels, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence.
- Community Engagement - Help grow and nurture our online community by responding to comments and messages, encouraging conversation, and celebrating members' stories and successes.
- Partnership Promotion - Work with partners and collaborators to amplify campaigns through cross-promotion and shared content opportunities.
- Analytics & Continuous Improvement - Monitor content performance, stay up to date with emerging social media trends, and use insights to continually improve our content and engagement.

- Outstanding ability to conceptualise and execute trending content.
- Basic video editing skills and familiarity with mobile content tools.
- Independent, organised, and self-directed.
