We are looking for a Salaried GP for 4-6 sessions/week, Tuesday and Friday is essential + / - Wednesday. We hope to support you in growing and developing your career, helping you explore what makes you passionate about the future of general practice. For those interested, we are open to future progression into Partnership for the right person.
Main duties of the job: You will be working as a salaried GP on 2-3 days including a Tuesday and Friday, for 4-6 sessions per week. This will include 1 day per week on-call with extended hours provision to 18:30/19:00.
About us: We are a GP Practice with longstanding history in the local community, recently moved into new modern premises with 2 Partners and 5 salaried GPs. The Practice has a nurse, HCA, pharmacist, phlebotomist & care coordinators. We are further supported by PCN pharmacists, physios, social prescribing link workers and mental health support workers. We serve an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse population of 10,000 patients. Located 5-minute walk from Stockwell Tube station and secure bike shed on site. Strong ethos of maintaining the traditional values of primary care. Consistently positive feedback from patients and good access - repeatedly coming out top for the GP patient survey in Lambeth.
Job responsibilities:
- BMA model contract and a competitive salary.
- Working day with mixed appointment model.
- We don't believe on-call days should be much more stressful than a regular day and have an ethos of sharing workload within a supportive team.
- Flexible working available on discussion.
- Friendly team (just had our away day in Brighton for the fourth year running!)
