You will report into the Product Lead of the B2C Products, and work closely with the General Manager of Home. The Product department consists of all Product Managers, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Designers in the Tech Product area.
Acorn’s non-standard home insurance business grew 80% last year to £13.4M and continues to grow strongly into 2025. The Group is aiming for the home business to be £100M by 2030.

- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for your area.
- Lead a customer-centric product development process, from discovery to delivery.
- Use data and insights to identify opportunities that improve conversion, engagement, and retention.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across digital, marketing, operations, and compliance to deliver impactful solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product decisions.
- Track and communicate progress clearly, ensuring alignment across teams and leadership.
What we are looking for:
- Solid experience as a Product Manager, ideally in digital B2C or B2B environments.
- Proven track record of driving growth and conversion through iterative product development.
- Experience building and scaling digital journeys and managing the end-to-end product lifecycle.
- Confident in partnering with senior leadership and commercially minded.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using MI and analytics tools to inform decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Background in regulated industries (insurance, fintech, payments) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with growth frameworks for both transactional and subscription-based models.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of an exciting fast-growing company – the biggest current business success story to be home grown out of Merseyside; and be part of the team taking Acorn’s home business from £13M to £100M.
- Work in a modern Agile environment taking ownership of how an ambitious business growth plan is delivered through technology.
- Work out of an amazing Grade I Listed iconic building (with £10M of investment in fit-out coming over the next 18 months).
- Shape the future of insurance with cutting-edge digital tools and a strong focus on customer experience.
- Comprehensive training and continuous in-house coaching.
