We are seeking a professional and friendly experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment.
Hours per week: 28.5
Duties:
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Know how to deal with difficult situations and work under pressure.
- Handle clerical duties such as filing, GP notes, incoming mail, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required, ensuring smooth office operations.
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using office software.
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Preferred experience using EMIS Web.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in a medical administrative or medical receptionist role is preferred.
