Looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, team player, who enjoys working in a successful, high achieving Practice. This is an invitation to join our experienced multidisciplinary team consisting of GPs, ANPs, PAs, Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, HCAs and Physio. We are always keen to develop new ways of working to simplify processes and streamline workflow, ensuring responsibilities are shared out equitably. Main duties of the job:
- Newly qualified or experienced GPs welcome to join our team.
- For newly qualified GPs - we will support you to settle in and gradually ease into the Practice ways of working. We shall appoint a buddy to support you as part of the induction process.
- We would like the new colleague to have aspirations on becoming a GP Trainer at some stage.

The Grange Medical Practice is the largest practice in Huddersfield with a list of circa 17,300 which continues to expand. Just 5 minutes away from the M62 junction. We have a large team of GPs, Nursing colleagues and allied health professionals who work innovatively in delivering safe and high quality services for our patients. Our leadership model is a matrix-based leadership structure, which allows all colleagues to equally contribute to Practice development and innovative patient services transformation. Our large team operates a supportive "open door" and blame-free, learning culture with regular full clinical team meetings. We provide a safe learning environment for all colleagues.
Job responsibilities:
- Provide Personal Medical Services to acceptable clinical standards to patients, both in surgery and on home visits.
- Respond to medical problems presented by patients on the medical list, including history taking, examination, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, referral where appropriate and adequate documentation with READ coding onto the GP Computer system.
- Provide appropriate health promotion and preventative health care and advice to the Practice patients attending the centre within the context of primary health care.
- Attend all team meetings and other meetings as may be necessary for PMS duties.
- Carry out clinically related administrative and non-clinical duties needed for the delivery of personal medical services.
- Provide free certification in line with Schedule 9 of NHS GMS Regulations (1992).
- Provide emergency cover for absent colleagues from time to time as detailed.
- Maintain patient clinical records in line with the electronic patient record system.

- Qualifications: Registered with the GMC or other appropriate governing body.
- On the Performers List.
- Special Interests: GP Trainer.
- Experience: General Practice Experience.
