Help Shape Brighter Futures For People With Learning Disabilities. We are looking for a passionate and committed Trustee to join our Board; you will make a real difference to our charity with a big heart and a clear mission.

As a Trustee at The Grange Centre, you will be actively involved in the strategic direction, governance and decision making of the charity. You will join a dynamic team that is committed to supporting people with disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives. You will be helping The Grange Centre to lead the way as a provider of choice for people with disabilities, inspiring our local and wider communities.

What are we looking for? The Grange Centre is looking for a passionate and committed individual. You don’t need previous trustee experience—we welcome applicants with broad professional or lived experience, particularly those local to Surrey who understand the community we serve. We’d especially love to hear from people with knowledge or expertise in:

  • Charities
  • Social Care
  • Local Authorities
  • Property
  • Housing Associations

What will you be doing? We believe the strongest Boards include diverse voices, lived experience and fresh thinking. You’ll be part of a supportive, committed Board led by an experienced and encouraging Chair.

What To Expect: New Trustees receive a full induction and will attend:

  • A minimum of four Board meetings per year
  • An annual Away Day
  • Relevant subcommittee meetings (Expenses can be reimbursed.)
