The predicted salary is between 16187 - 16718 € per year.

Hours: 20.75 per week - Monday and Tuesday 8.45am – 5pm and Friday 8.45am – 4pm, with 1 hour unpaid lunch each day. You'll also join the weekend watering rota and be responsible for this on 1 out of 8 weekends.

Salary: £16,187 pa (based on FTE of £27,500) if you do not hold a teaching qualification or £16,718 pa (based on an FTE of £28,402) with a teaching qualification.

Location: Our main site in Bookham, plus regular visits to off‑site gardens we look after and markets in the local area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting gardening sessions in our productive walled garden and around our 8 acre site.
  • Leading retail activities – preparing plants and produce for sale, maintaining an attractive sales area, and creating clear signage.
  • Supporting off‑site activities and driving the Grange long wheelbase van.
  • Helping people develop work skills, independence and a sense of purpose through meaningful activity.

What We're Looking For
  • Passionate about supporting people as individuals and in creating an inclusive, supportive environment.
  • Knowledgeable about horticulture or have some plant knowledge.
  • Positive and able to bring enthusiasm to physical outdoor work.
  • Comfortable with English and Maths, particularly confidence with numbers to be able to support with plant and produce sales.
  • Someone who shares our values: Friendly, Open, Respectful, Caring, Enabling.
  • Comfortable using and learning digital systems.
  • A driver with a full driving licence and willingness to drive Grange vehicles (essential).

If you have experience supporting people with disabilities or have experience in a horticultural/retail setting – this would be a bonus but attitude and values matter most.
