Imagine starting your day with a smile and a kind word that brightens someone's morning. As an Activities Co-ordinator, you’ll be there to support residents with the little things that matter most. You’ll play a crucial role in providing stimulating and enriching experiences for our residents through vibrant social, wellbeing, and lifestyle activities. You’ll be instrumental in bringing this vision to life by planning and facilitating engaging activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

What You Will Do In This Splendid Role:

  • Support with enrichment and wellbeing activities on a weekly and monthly schedule for our residents, you'll also get to know them and find out what makes them happy as individuals.
  • Learn about their hobbies and interests and work with colleagues and families to ensure residents can keep doing what they love.
  • Support with daily activities and running events/activities in the home.
  • Promote resident dignity which is person-centred and respects individual choices.
  • Share moments of laughter, conversation, and companionship.
  • Provide comfort and reassurance when residents need a little extra care.
  • Work as part of a close-knit team to make every day safe, joyful, and fulfilling.
