Just as no two days are the same, no two events are alike. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for managing all Conference and Banquet operations to deliver an excellent guest experience. You will do more than just welcome our guests. You will be on the front line for all our events to ensure that every event is a success working alongside other M&E Floor Managers and the Assistant Meeting & Events Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all Conference & Banqueting (M&E) operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, efficiency, and brand compliance.
- Manage, delegate and develop a large team of staff, including performance management and training.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, addressing queries and maintaining exceptional customer service with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Control operational and departmental costs, including payroll, beverage sales, and wastage, to optimize profitability.
- Ensure readiness for all emergencies by maintaining full knowledge of procedures and training staff accordingly.
- Maintain strong communication and work relationships across all within your department and other hotel departments, as well as with external clients and suppliers.
