We are looking for an exceptional individual to join the team as Painter and Decorator to assist with the day-to-day operation of the engineering department, carrying out painting and decorating tasks, ensuring all hotel facilities and the image of the hotel areas are maintained to the standards required.
What You Will Do In This Splendid Role:
- Perform visual checks in all areas of the hotel, being proactive, report defects or if practical, repair immediately.
- Perform all routine preventative maintenance and curative maintenance.
- Painting and hanging of wallpaper, caulking, including filling, sanding and applying finish.
- Work in a safe manner and always maintain cleanliness and order in the workshop and throughout the hotel.
- Keep adequate level of supplies required for hotel maintenance and notify manager of equipment and supply requirements.
- Responsible for the security and maintenance of tools and equipment used for painting and decorating.
