The Doorperson is a key member of the hotel team, often as the first and last point of contact for all our hotel guests. The image you project on the front door is the image the guests and members of the public imagine how our hotel is like on the inside; therefore, your actions need to always be of the utmost professional. You will be totally guest focused, ensuring we are creating memorable stays for all our guests, consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach.

What You Will Do In This Splendid Role:

  • Assist guests on arrival with their luggage and escorting them to the reception desk.
  • Provide guests with prompt service and professional attention by being present outside the hotel, greeting and opening doors for incoming and outgoing guests and clients in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Answer guest queries relating to the local area, travel arrangements and other facilities within and outside the hotel.
  • Manage the valet parking and taking care of guest’s cars when needed.
  • Ensure every guest leaving the hotel has all they need for their onward journey including assisting with taxis, providing directions and assisting with luggage.
  • Build a network of contacts within the London area to drive cross referrals and excellent recommendations.
