The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Night Manager with a passion for service excellence. You will report to the Front Office Manager, supporting/working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city.

A Night Manager will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the Front Office team offers a warm welcome, accurate information, and guest comfort and safety.
  • Overseeing adherence to company procedures (check-in, check-out, cash and key handling).
  • Managing team communication and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Supporting the Assistant Front Office Manager with recruitment, performance management, talent development, and absence management.
  • Handling guest queries and complaints, involving senior management when necessary.
  • Managing bookings, room allocations, group reservations, and special requests.
  • Initiating and maintaining effective communication within the department and with other departments.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures, financial tasks, and assisting with revenue management.

To be successful in the role of Night Manager, we require:

  • Excellent guest engagement skills.
  • Cash and Key handling experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation: health and safety, employment.
  • Ability to act on own initiative and think ahead to exceed expectations.
  • Creativity and confidence to find solutions to everyday challenges.
  • Experience working in a four-star hotel as a supervisor.
