The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a confident Housekeeping Supervisor with a passion for service excellence. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager/Head Housekeeper, working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the restaurant.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Housekeeper on leading the Housekeeping Team, ensuring that the standards of cleaning, hygiene, stock control and staffing are maintained
- Planning, organising and supervising the cleaning services within the property
- Dealing with suppliers, trade associations, outsourced partners, ensuring linen, uniform, consumable and staff costs are within budget
- Supporting the Housekeeper on all departmental communications
- Managing reporting and helping with budgeting for the Housekeeping Team
To be successful in the role of Housekeeping Supervisor, we require:
- Previous cleaning supervisory experience
- Ability to lead and develop teams
- Ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel
- Willingness to learn and work with IT systems quickly
- A good command of English is essential, a second language is advantageous
