The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Housekeeping Assistant with a passion for service excellence. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager, working towards serving our customers and providing a memorable experience for our guests during their stay with us. This is a part-time position, 15 hours per week.
A Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all control measures set by HOD are followed all the time
- Demonstrating the ability to proactively prioritise the needs of the departments and effectively manage resources and time
- Being aware of housekeeping SOPs and Health & Safety procedures
- Demonstrating personal ownership of the tasks and following through to get optimum results
- Assisting with deep cleaning projects when required
- Performing turndown duties when required
- Working as part of a team and communicating with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality service
