The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Food and Beverage Supervisor with a passion for service excellence. You will report to the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the restaurant.

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will:

  • Assist the food and beverage manager in building an effective team through effective leadership and setting the right example.
  • Work with the F&B Managers to take responsibility for training and development of employees, departmental induction, monthly department meetings, planning, assigning and delegating work.
  • Be highly courteous and give our guests a memorable service and lasting impression.
  • Provide exceptional service by demonstrating full knowledge of our products and facilities.
  • Ensure that the daily task list is completed effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver captivating experiences.
  • Take initiative in accommodating our guests' needs in a resourceful manner.
  • Assist the Manager to train and coach in a systematic and professional way to consistently achieve service standards and product delivery.
  • Deal with guest complaints by following the correct procedures.
  • Positively promote sales awareness within the department and maximize sales opportunities.

To be successful in the role of Food and Beverage Supervisor, we require:

  • Excellent guest engagement skills.
  • Previous Hospitality Experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous experience handling customer requests and complaints.
  • Well organised, outgoing and service minded.
  • The ability to communicate and organise yourself in line with different guest expectations.
  • A good command of English is essential, a second language is advantageous.
