As part of the specialist Kitchen Brigade, you will join our Head Chef in making continuous improvements to ensure our menus always meet the 5-star standards expected by our guests. You will have a good understanding of basic techniques and a desire to further develop your skills. Due to the nature of the business, you may be serving events, room service, and the restaurant at the same time, so you must be flexible, adaptable, and remain calm under pressure.
Commis Chef Attributes/Experience:
- NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience and exposure to a variety of menu styles
- Able to multitask and maintain quality levels at all times
- Work well as a part of a busy, close-knit kitchen brigade
- Possess a “can do” attitude, being able to work on your own initiative as required
