The Grand Hotel Birmingham, located on Colmore Row, is housed in one of the city’s most iconic buildings. This landmark Grade II* listed building has been beautifully restored, combining classic Victorian features with modern service and style that complements a vibrant and diverse Birmingham in the 21st century. The Grand Hotel features 185 bedrooms, extraordinary suites, a glamorous cocktail bar, a buzzing New York style restaurant, and eight magnificent meeting and event rooms, including the spectacular Louis XIV-style Grand Ballroom.

Our Supreme Housekeepers work within the “heart of the house” and bring their personality and flair to provide a warm and friendly service to our VIP guests. The guest journey is paramount, so you'll know how to deliver a fantastic experience for our guests, time and time again, achieving Grand standards.

What you will do:

  • You will primarily work on the 6th VIP Floor, servicing and maintaining Grand VIP Standards.
  • Your standards of servicing bedrooms should be the pinnacle of Hospitality.
  • To service guest bedrooms to The Grand Housekeeping standard required - presenting immaculate beds, bathrooms and corridors.
  • Work closely with the Housekeeping Management.
  • Deliver and build rapport with VIPs, whilst adhering to our confidentiality and privacy policy.
  • Leading by example by delivering excellent guest experiences by surprising and delighting through going the extra mile.
  • To be accountable for your allocated section of bedrooms ensuring a high standard of presentation and maintenance is second nature, including Public Areas.
  • Be flexible to jump into any role within the housekeeping department when required.
  • Contribute to creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests and colleagues.
  • Team player.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience within a similar or supervisory role is essential.
  • Be fully flexible to be able to work shift patterns through weekdays and weekends.
