Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. It sets the tone for our guests' day ahead – so as Breakfast Chef you will be a key team player in the kitchen, helping to ensure the effective running of the department and a crucial service for our guests.

Flexible hours to suit your availability and the needs of the business. Average shifts may look like: 05:00 - 10:30 / 05:00 - 13:30 / 06:00 - 11:30 / 06:00 - 14:30.

What the role will involve:

  • Participate in the preparation and cooking of breakfast food in accordance with established recipe cards and methods.
  • Ensure all dishes are correctly garnished before being sent to relevant outlets.
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner as befits the venue.
  • Have the desire to be trained to cover other sections of the kitchen as decided by the senior chefs.
  • Remain totally customer focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience working within a busy kitchen in a similar role is essential, and it would be advantageous for this to have been in a hotel kitchen.
  • We are looking for someone with a real passion for food and the drive to succeed in a new role.
  • Outstanding hygiene skills are essential.
  • Certificate in elementary food hygiene would be desirable.
  • Due to the nature of the work, the ideal candidate would be fully flexible in their approach to work and be able to work shift patterns through weekdays and weekends.
