Be part of the team behind some of Birmingham's most spectacular events. We're looking for an Event Bartender to join our Conference & Banqueting team at The Grand Hotel Birmingham. From weddings and gala dinners to conferences and celebrations, no two shifts are the same. You'll deliver exceptional bar service, support the smooth running of events and help create memorable experiences for every guest. While you'll predominantly be part of our Events Bar Team, you'll also support food service during events when required.

This role offers £12.71 per hour, plus benefits and flexible hours to suit your availability and the needs of the business.

What the role will involve:
  • Delivering warm, friendly and professional bar and food service throughout conferences, banquets and events.
  • Preparing bars and event spaces for service, including stock replenishment, equipment set-up and maintaining presentation standards.
  • Providing efficient and accurate bar service, ensuring guests receive a consistently high-quality experience.
  • Supporting event set-up and breakdown, including room layouts, furniture movement and close-down duties.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure guest requests, dietary requirements and event details are delivered seamlessly.
What we're looking for:
  • Previous bar experience is preferred.
