As a multi-skilled Maintenance Assistant, you work within the “heart of the house” and use your proficiency and flair to keep the iconic Grand Hotel to the high standard befitting such a landmark. Utilising your core skill sets of carpentry, plumbing, and painting experience in a hotel is beneficial but not essential. Painting and decorating skills are desirable. Promote a proactive and positive attitude and display the ability to ‘make things happen’ to achieve or exceed anticipated results. Strong organisational, time‑management and communication skills are required. Be fully flexible in your approach to work and able to work shift patterns through weekdays and weekends inclusive.
