Do you have a passion for exceptional bar service and show-stopping mixology? Madeleine Bar at The Grand Hotel Birmingham is a slice of Parisian chic in the heart of Birmingham. Awarded Hotel Bar of the Year 2024 at the Midland Food, Drink & Hospitality Awards and Hotel Bar of the Year 2024 & 2025 at the Birmingham Association of Bartenders Awards, Madeleine is known for its vibrant atmosphere, outstanding cocktails and warm, attentive service.
As Bar Supervisor, you will:
- Bring personality, flair and leadership to the team, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and an exceptional experience from start to finish.
- Lead by example and help create memorable moments for our guests time and time again.
This is a full time role that involves working 40 hours over 5 days to include evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
What the role involves:
- Leading and motivating the team from the front with confidence, positivity and energy.
- Supporting management in directing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service from opening through to close.
- Creating and serving drinks to the highest standard, following specifications while responding to guest preferences.
- Working collaboratively with the bar and kitchen teams to maintain the quality and consistency of both food and drinks.
- Delivering outstanding service and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.

- Experience working within a premium or high-end bar environment.
