As a Commis Chef at The Grand Hotel Birmingham, you’ll be part of a fast-moving kitchen team, preparing fresh dishes for guests and building the skills to take your career forward. It’s a hands‑on role where you’ll support senior chefs, rotate across different sections, and play your part in delivering high standards every day.
What you will do:
- Prepare ingredients, cook simple dishes and plate food to the right standard
- Support service by keeping things organised and running smoothly
- Rotate through different kitchen sections as part of your training and development
- Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Assist with stock control and help reduce waste
- Work as part of the team, stepping in to support wherever needed
