We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Volunteer to help us raise awareness of our mission, engage our communities and promote our campaigns across social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone to use their digital skills to make a positive social impact.

Your Rotary Club of Cuckfield, Lindfield and Haywards Heath is one of over 35,000 Rotary Clubs in over 200 countries around the world, all run by volunteers, providing a huge network for communication and working together. What are we looking for?
- Strong interest in social media and digital communication
- Good written communication skills
- Reliability and ability to meet agreed deadlines
- Photography, video making and editing
- Passion for our Club’s causes – with energy and enthusiasm in abundance!
- Living/working/in education in the Mid Sussex area
- 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts
- Hybrid
What will you be doing?
- Create, schedule and publish engaging content on the Club's social media platforms - supporting fundraising appeals, awareness campaigns, event marketing, etc.
- Write clear, compelling content aligned with Rotary's tone and content.
- Source and create visual images, video material, and graphics.
- Monitor messages and comments - escalating enquiries when needed.
- Track engagement metrics and propose different ways of getting our Rotary Club noticed.
