Following a thorough induction you will look after clients across the Northamptonshire area.

Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Conduct on-site surveys of properties and buildings, including their surfaces such as driveways, gardens, and landscaping
/n
- Produce comprehensive reports with detailed recommendations in line with our clients' indemnity
/n
- Identify defects and advise on effective remedial works
/n
- Provide guidance on proposed alterations and improvements, including realistic timelines
/n
- Prepare bill of quantities (BoQ), schedules of work, and safety assessments
/n
- Advise on relevant legal and planning matters
/n
- Adhere to internal reporting standards
/n
- Work alongside other members of the Project Management team
/n
/n

Essential Requirements
/n
/n
- Proven experience working as a Building Surveyor
/n
- Relevant qualifications would be desirable
/n
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
/n
- Flexible approach to working hours to accommodate workload peaks
/n
- Professional and presentable, both on-site and over the phone
/n
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, legislation, regulations, rectification techniques, and current material costs
/n
- Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and various surveying software
/n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong grammar and spelling
/n
- Organised, honest, and a reliable team player
/n

- CITB Health & Safety qualification
/n
- Experience assessing buildings for damage
/n
/n
HOURS OF WORK: 8.45-5.00pm Monday to Friday
/n
HOLIDAY: 25 days plus bank holidays, can earn an extra 2 days holiday based on work Day off for birthday (if weekday)
/n
