This is an exciting new role for a Civil Engineering graduate with some experience, involving working alongside the Civil Engineering team on sizeable projects. The role will be office-based but will require site visits across the UK to extract information and check damage, including structural damage.
The position offers an interesting, challenging, and varied workload, allowing professional development in the chosen field. Ideally, candidates should be motivated, progressive, and versatile, adopting a flexible approach to support the division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate highways and crown property damage claims
- Communicate with all parties involved via phone, email, and site visits
- Establish technical information relevant to each claim/project and produce reports
- Keep the system updated with all relevant information
- Work with other team members to provide information and assist with technical matters
- Feedback to other teams on completion of claims
Support will be given to study professional qualifications.
Skills Required:
- Experience in the relevant industry – ideally highways and property
- Ability to communicate on all levels
- Full driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- IT literate
- Driven & Ambitious

HOURS OF WORK: 8:45 – 5.00pm Monday to Friday with a 45 min lunch
HOLIDAY: 25 days plus bank holidays, an extra 16 hours of time off in lieu, totalling 27 days plus bank holidays. An additional day is given for your Birthday if it falls on a weekday.
