Responsibilities
We’re working with a UK higher education provider that is now seeking a University Registrar to lead its academic services. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the student journey from enrolment through to graduation, ensuring processes are compliant, student-focused, and strategically aligned.
As Registrar, you will:
- Lead registry services covering admissions, timetabling, assessment, progression, and graduation
- Oversee compliance with OfS, HESA, SLC, UKVI and other statutory/regulatory requirements
- Manage academic governance processes and quality assurance frameworks
- Drive service improvements to enhance the student experience
- Lead and develop professional services teams across multiple campuses
- Contribute at senior management level to broader institutional priorities
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience leading registry, MIS, or academic services in UK Higher Education
- Strong understanding of compliance, statutory reporting, and academic governance
- Expertise in student record systems and data reporting
- Ability to build relationships and influence at senior level
