Our client is a well-established charity dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those they support. They are now seeking a Philanthropy Officer to strengthen relationships with corporate partners, donors, and supporters, ensuring all fundraising and engagement activity is delivered to the highest standard.
π₯ As a Philanthropy Officer, you will:
- Provide excellent customer service to supporters, partners, and donors via phone, email, and in person
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective corporate partners and individual donors
- Support the planning and delivery of philanthropy campaigns, events, and partnerships
- Maintain accurate records on the fundraising database, ensuring information is up to date and compliant
- Conduct research to identify new giving opportunities and prepare reports or proposals
- Support the philanthropy team with administrative tasks, planning, and coordination
- Assist in meeting income generation targets and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Travel within the UK as required to attend meetings, events, or donor visits
π₯ What weβre looking for:
- Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service both face to face and remotely
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels
- A good understanding of developing and managing corporate or individual giving partnerships
- Confident in managing databases and maintaining accurate supporter records
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- Demonstrable ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Competent IT user with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases
- Strong research skills with the ability to gather and report relevant information
- Willingness to travel within the UK during business hours when required
