The Graduate Project is working with a professional organisation in the City of London to recruit an IT Support Technician on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous first-line IT support experience who enjoys providing hands‑on technical support in a busy office environment. You will support colleagues with day‑to‑day IT issues and help ensure meeting‑room technology, presentations and events run smoothly.

The role

  • Provide first-line IT support to colleagues across the organisation
  • Set up, test and troubleshoot IT and meeting-room equipment for meetings, presentations, training sessions and events
  • Support video conferencing technology, including Microsoft Teams
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with laptops, desktops, projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, cameras and other equipment
  • Assist users with hardware, software, connectivity and general IT queries
  • Log, manage and resolve support tickets within agreed service levels
  • Maintain IT equipment, including recording faults, repairs and asset information
  • Liaise with external suppliers where specialist support or repairs are required
  • Deliver a professional and customer-focused support service to users at all levels
  • Previous experience in an IT Support Technician, IT Support, Service Desk or AV Support role
  • Proven first-line IT support experience is essential
  • Confident troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity and meeting-room technology
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams or similar video-conferencing platforms
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully office-based role
  • Available to start immediately or at short notice
